About This Blog
Hello! My name is Kimberly Wong. I am a self-proclaimed shopaholic who is on a tight budget with not a lot of money to spare, and I am also a self-taught artist who has an affinity for all things art or craft related.

Being an avid do it yourself (DIY) project enthusiast, whilst also being a crazed shopaholic, I try to make do with what I have in order to recreate or repurpose items that have piqued my interest.

My mission here is to:
1) Share my ideas, (affordable) DIY projects, and inspirations with you all.
2) Share the gratifying feeling of being able to make something with your own two hands.

I am inviting you to join me on my on-going quest for affordable awesomeness. Hopefully, together, you and I will grow along this journey as I venture out by starting this blog to challenge my creative abilities (on a budget). Hopefully I will also inspire a few of you guys (with my ideas) along the way.

About Me
I am a San Francisco native, and a student at San Francisco State University. I am currently studying as a Biology major, but I hope to also declare a minor in art because it is a great passion of mine.

As I have mentioned above, I am a self-taught artist and I love anything that has to do with art and crafting. During my free time, I really enjoy drawing and crafting above all else, then YouTubing, eating, sleeping, countless hours of surfing the internet, and shopping, in no particular order.

I'm a very "hands-on" person, and I love crafting not only because it is fun, but also because it allows me to challenge my creativity and it teaches me so many new skills. Every time I decide to try out a new DIY project I'm unfamiliar with, it's like venturing out into unknown territory. The very first time I sewed something or the very first time I tried to paint something, I of course ran into a few road blocks and made some mistakes, but those mistakes helped improve my sewing or painting skills. With every new DIY project I complete, I gain a new skill or new techniques to add into my craft knowledge.

I love crafting and art so much! I hope that someday I will be able to start my own side business and sell some of my crafts, or maybe even go beyond this blog and start a YouTube channel.
